The Instance supérieure indépendante pour les élections (ISIE - الهيئة العليا
المستقلة للانتخابات - Independent Higher Authority of Elections) was established
by Constitutional Law No. 23 promulgated on 20 December 2012. The main task of
ISIE is to secure democratic, free, pluralist, fair and transparent elections
and referendums. ISIE is in charge of all operations involved in the
